It reduces the tendency for mud cracking during drying by keeping the surface open. This in turn provides the opportunity to reduce open time extenders and related VOC levels in your paints.

It can improve the gloss of coatings and increase the coloring power and the coverage of paints. At the same time it can prevent paints from floating color and blooming.
